Line scope and purchasing requirements

Turn a production idea into a useful equipment enquiry.

Describe the starting material, intended product, capacity basis and package, then identify which machines and site interfaces belong in the supply scope.

Describe what arrives and what leaves

Begin with fresh tomatoes, refined pulp or purchased bulk paste, then name the product you want to make. Paste concentration, puree preparation and ketchup formulation are different purchasing tasks. Stating that route prevents an enquiry from being interpreted as a generic complete factory request.

Include the desired product properties and package where they are known. Inlet and target °Brix are useful for a concentration duty; recipe and texture requirements are useful for ketchup mixing and finishing. Keep confidential recipes and sensitive personal information out of the initial message.

Use a capacity basis that matches the task

For a fresh-fruit route, distinguish tomato intake, refined feed, water removed and finished-paste output. For a paste-based packing operation, state product flow or useful batches together with the container and filling cycle. A single tonnes-per-hour figure is insufficient when its measurement point is unclear.

Identify whether you need one machine, a process section or a connected line. List the adjoining equipment that already exists and the transfer conditions it requires. A replacement pulper or an additional filler should not automatically become a quotation for unrelated fruit-handling equipment.

Add the information that changes the arrangement

Site location, available space and height, utilities and installation boundaries can change the equipment selection. Include any known constraints at the initial stage and provide drawings or additional technical information when the discussion requires them.

You can send an initial enquiry without every engineering detail being settled. The protected form asks for a name, email and project message, with equipment and technical context optional. Explain the production task clearly first so the next exchange can focus on the missing selection inputs.

Questions about this equipment and process

Do I need a completed engineering specification to make contact?

No. Start with the incoming material, target product and the machine or section you need. Add capacity and package information where available.

Should I send one capacity figure for the whole line?

State where that capacity is measured. Fruit intake, refined feed, water removal, paste output and package cycles describe different duties.
